Recently one of the fabulous ladies in my team promoted to Bronze Elite and I am so proud of her, I felt like a proud ‘Mummy’.
To celebrate Helens promotion I made her this gorgeous copper embossed You Are Remarkable card which was quite fitting because Helen is a remarkable lady. I also made her a certificate and gave her a bag of Stampin’ Up! goodies that included cardstock, ribbons and the new Springtime Foils Speciality DSP.
When I suggested to Helen about becoming a demonstrator she said she couldn’t do it because she didn’t want to do video tutorials, host parties, run classes etc. When I said she could become a ‘hobby demo’, get 20% net discount and it was her choice whether to do videos etc. she went home and spoke to her partner about it. The following day Helen messaged me to say she wanted to join my team. Helen promoted to Bronze Elite within 6 months of joining the Stampin’ Up! family. We are now best friends and we talk almost every day.
Geoff bought me the Remarkable You stamp set for Christmas and I had been itching to use it. I heat embossed the flower and the sentiment with copper embossing powder and when I adhered them to the copper foil sheets they looked stunning.
With all the copper on this card I felt that it didn’t need any ribbon or embellishments. This clean and simple card looks really elegant and I love it.

*When designing a project or when I CASE a project I always use my cheap cardstock to make a prototype before making it with my Stampin’ Up! cardstock. I do check the measurements I add to my blog posts but when typing lots of measurements mistakes can be made. When making any project I recommend making it first with cheap cardstock before using your best cardstock.*
