About Me

I have been crafting on and off since 1991 and I have tried various crafts over the years including cross stitch and making jewellery but paper crafting is definitely my favourite, I’m addicted to it.   I love making people happy and there’s no greater pleasure than seeing their huge smile when they open their hand-made card.

I married Geoff in 1988 and we have 2 children TJ and Kayleigh who are both in their 20’s. We moved from London to Lincolnshire in 1996, it really is a beautiful county.  You can take a 5 minute drive, in any direction, from my home and you are in the countryside.

In 2002 I was diagnosed with M.E. and Fibromyalgia and had to use a wheelchair but I was determined it wouldn’t stop me doing the things I loved, especially crafting. When I’m not well enough to go into my craftroom Geoff will grab the alcohol markers or water colour pencils for me and I spend time colouring in stamped images.  It’s so relaxing to sit colouring with some music on in the background.

When my 1st Stampin’ Up! order arrived I was amazed at the quality of the products. The colour coordinated card, ribbon, inks etc was fantastic, no more trudging round shops trying to find the right shade of ribbon to match my card/DSP.  I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in January 2016 so that I could get the 20% net discount. Stampin’ Up! really is one big family and I have made so many friends since joining.
