When I was making the quick and simple layout cards that I shared on Tuesday and Wednesday I had strips of cardstock and DSP everywhere!!
I had been cutting 12″ strips of DSP for the front of the cards and I was wondering what I could do with the remaining pieces and the idea for a Bookmark Card popped into my head. I couldn’t find a notebook so I scribbled a sketch on some card.
Do you keep a notebook with you for ideas? I have one in my handbag and I keep at least one notebook in every room of the house. And before someone asks yes there is one in the bathroom because you never know when inspiration will strike.

I have a few tag punches and even though some of them are retired I got them all out and used them, there’s no point having them if they don’t get used.

I added a pocket on the inside of the card to hold the bookmark and I used a thin strip of card that was left over from cutting card mats to stop the bookmark moving around.

It was fun making these bookmark cards, they don’t take long to make and I’m so pleased with how they came out. You could make these for so many different occasions.
All these cards have really helped use up some of my DSP/Cardstock strips. I am determined to use them up.

I would love to see what you make. You can email your photo’s by clicking here or share your creations on my Lady Dee’s Craft Forum on Facebook and with your permission, I will share all your creations here on my website.
Have yourself some crafting fun.
