As we only have a few days of Sale-A-Bration left I wanted to share another project I made with the Botanical Butterfly DSP. I LOVE this paper, it’s one of my favourite freebies.
I haven’t made any Get Well cards for months and this one was made with a really quick and easy card layout that can be used time after time. This simple layout is a great way to use up those strips of DSP and cardstock that we all have in our scraps and it was perfect for part 2 of my DSP/Cardstock challenge.
I also have another blog post scheduled that shows some variations on this layout.
I completely forgot I had the Sorry for Everything stamp set, I found it when I was looking through my sentiment stamps. With the beautiful large swirly Sorry and the variety of sentiments it’s worth checking out (details are at the bottom of this post).
I used the FREE Sale-A-Bration Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper again, this DSP is only available until March 31st or while supplies last.
Butterflies are so versatile, by changing the sentiment you can use them on cards for:-
| Birthday | Wedding | Valentine’s | Anniversary |
| Mother’s Day | Get Well | Sympathy | Thank You |
I hope you enjoyed today’s card, I had so much fun using this layout and it’s helping me to slowly work my way through the strips of DSP and cardstock that I found during my craftroom spring clean.
If you do make any of my projects I would love to see them, you can share them on my Facebook craft forum, click here to come and join in.
You can also subscribe to my blog and receive my posts via email, that way you’ll never miss a project : ) The link is at the top of the left sidebar.
Have yourself some crafting fun.

You can get the Sale-A-Bration Botanical Butterfly DSP for FREE when you place a qualifying order of £45, not including shipping. Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31st 2019.
Product ListTo make the card
5″ x 7″ Cardbase: Whisper White A4 Thick cardstock 10″ x 7″, score the long side at 5″.
The measurements for the matting layers were based on the strips of card and DSP I had in my scraps. Adjust these to suit the scraps you have, the cardstock mat is 1/4″ larger than the DSP so it has a nice 1/8″ border on all 4 sides.
Matting Layers:
Highland Heather cardstock panel – 2″ x ” 6½”.
Botanical Butterflies DSP panel – 1¾” x 6¼”.
***
Highland Heather cardstock for the sentiment – 2 3/8″ x 4″.
Whisper White cardstock for the sentiment – 2 1/8″ x 3¾”.
When making any project I recommend you make it with cheap cardstock first because when someone is typing up lots of measurements mistakes can be made, we are human after all.
I do double check my measurements but I have Dyscalculia.
