Following on from yesterdays post I have some more quick & easy cards using the same simple layout and some variations too (click here to see yesterdays card).
I wasn’t well enough to craft yesterday so instead I went on my computer and created 7 variations of the Quick & Simple Layout for you to download and print. I hope you find this is helpful.
With these layouts you can have a plain cardbase or try something else eg:
- Use a piece of DSP as the background.
- Stamp your own DSP by randomly stamping an image.
- Use embossing paste and a mask/stencil.
- Dry emboss the cardbase.
- Sponge the cardbase.
- Use a mask/stencil, ink and a dauber or sponge on the cardbase. On the Grapefruit Grove card I used 3 different shades of orange ink for an ombre look background.
These are some of the cards I have made using these layouts and some of my favourite Sale-A-Bration and Sale-A-Bration Coordination products. The butterflies had to sneak in again ; )
Masculine Christmas Card and stamped envelope. Geoff couldn’t believe I started making some of my Christmas cards in February. Making a few each month is easier than doing them all at once.
Close up of the clear heat embossed sentiment. I should have used a darker colour for the sentiment so that it stood out more.
The succulents look beautiful in Coastal Cabana ink. I stamped them on the front and the back of the envelope too.
I punched a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock with the Story Label Punch and added it behind the Layering Circles.
For the background I used a mask/stencil and Grapefruit Grove, Mango Melody and Petal Pink ink to get this ombre look.
I coloured the vellum with Call Me Clover and Coastal Cabana ink before I punched the leaves.
This is a 2 step sentiment, I love the squiggly Birthday. The butterfly background was stamped with Versamark ink and left to dry.
This is the inside of the card and I stamped butterflies on the front and the back of the envelope. No naked envelopes.
I hope you have enjoyed all these cards as much as I enjoyed making them. This quick & simple layout is addictive!!
