Thank you for joining me today for another It’s A Wrap Wednesday project. Christmas is less than 3 months away so today’s project shows how to make a simple bottle of wine look classy and expensive (whoever receives this will think you spent a lot of money on the gift wrapping).
After making the ‘Elf Jacket’ and the Black & White Snowflake Bottle boxes I decided to make one with non-Christmas DSP.
I looked through my DSP to see which one I wanted to work with and decided I wanted to use the Bundle of Love Speciality DSP to decorate the box for my bottle of wine. This paper is gorgeous, there are 12 sheets of double sided 12″ x 12″ DSP. On one side there is a gold foil design on a Very Vanilla background and on the other side you have the same design in Very Vanilla with either a Soft Sky or Blushing Bride background.
The Gold Foil and Very Vanilla looks so elegant and this could be used for a Birthday, Wedding, Wedding Anniversary, Christmas etc.
I used the 12″ x 12″ Very Vanilla cardstock to make the box and added panels of the Bundle of Love Speciality DSP. I also made a cute but elegant coordinating stocking with the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies.
When I cut the cardstock to make the box I had a 1″ x 12″ strip left over, I don’t like to waste anything so I made a belly band with it and attached the tag using dimensionals.
The sentiments I used are from the Merry Little Labels stamp set. I heat embossed both the sentiments with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The ‘Just For You’ sentiment was punched with the Everyday Label Punch. The ‘Eat, Drink and Be Merry’ sentiment was die-cut with the Cheerful Tags Framelits Dies, these are currently £16.80 on the clearance rack. I added the Gold 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon to the tags on the bottle and the stocking.
The image below is the same bottle but I added the gold heat embossed ‘thank you so much’ sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. I die-cut the sentiment with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies
I hope you like today’s project. If you have any questions please leave them in a comment below.

*When designing a project or when I CASE a project I always use my cheap cardstock to make a prototype before making it with my Stampin’ Up! cardstock. I do check the measurements I add to my blog posts but when typing lots of measurements mistakes can be made. When making any project I recommend making it first with cheap cardstock before using your best cardstock.*
