Today I have the final part of my Snowflake Showcase. It’s sad that todays the last day and then it retires but I have had a LOT of fun with this beautiful bundle.
For my last project I have 2 pretty chocolate coin holders. Even though I have only used the bundle on one of the holders the other one is so cute I just had to add it to today’s post.
When I saw the colours of the chocolate unicorn coins they reminded me of Pool Party, Sweet Sugar Plum (sadly now retired) and Gorgeous Grape. I managed to make the first two but I ran out of time to get the Gorgeous Grape holder finished.
I stamped the flurry of snowflakes with Versamark ink and white heat embossed them. The super cute snowman is from the Seasonal Chums stamp set that came out last Christmas. I stamped both of them with Smoky Slate ink and used an aqua painter and the ink pads to water coloured them.
Even though I use the Magnetic Platform when I’m die-cutting the dies can still move so I used some washi tape to hold the die in place. There’s nothing more frustrating than colouring an image and then the die moves when you run it through the Big Shot and you have to start again. Has this happened to you too?
The holders measure 3½” x 2″ and would be great for Christmas Stockings or craft fairs. If you added a handle they would also look great on the Christmas tree. If you would like all the dimensions please let me know in a comment below.

Lady Dee: Cute little holder. It is nice to have different ways of using the material we buy. When we do not have the same tool or paper, we just case the object and it comes out very well. For example, I have learned a few days ago that we can paint with markers over something embossed with white powder . . . no need to have ever color of embossing powder. Thanks so much for your postings. We do know it is hard work.
