Snowman Chocolate Coin Holders Tutorial

Snowflake Showcase #6 - chocolate coin holders using stampin' up! products for Christmas stockings, favours or craft fair – by Dee Copus-Read, Lady Dee Crafts

After sharing the Snowman chocolate coin holders last week I had several requests for the dimensions.  I’m so pleased everyone liked them.

If you are making projects to sell that contain Stampin’ Up! images you must follow Stampin’ Up!’s Angel Policy, the details are at the bottom of this post.

Dimensions*

The finished dimensions of these holders are 2″ x 3½” x 3/8″.  Please feel free to CASE these, all I ask is that you say who you CASE’d them from and give my website details.

For the holder – 1 piece of 9½” x 2¾” cardstock.

Score the long side at 3½”, 3 7/8″, 7 3/8″ and 7¾”.  Score the short side at 3/8″ and 2 3/8″.

For the insert – 1 piece of  3 3/8″ x 1 7/8″ cardstock.

I put a thumb notch on the 1st holder I made but it wasn’t needed, the insert just slides out of the holder.

These are the Chocolate Unicorn coins that I bought for about 50p in Asda.  The normal chocolate coins should fit, the largest coins I have are 1¾” and they fit.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Have yourself some crafting fun.

When making any project I recommend you make it with cheap cardstock first because when someone is typing up lots of measurements mistakes can be made, we are human after all. I do double check my measurements but I have Dyscalculia.
