A few weeks ago I made a quick and easy Masculine card that could be used for any occasion. I used one of the dark wood effect designs in the Wood Textures DSP to die-cut the deer and I used a lighter wood design as a layer on the card.
I kept looking at the card and I decided to take a break from making wedding favours and use the Detailed Deer dies to make a masculine Christmas card instead.
I love the Wood Textures DSP for masculine projects and this time I swapped it around. I went with a white wood effect deer and used a dark wood for the background and it has really made the deer pop on the card. Don’t you agree?
For added dimension I die-cut 3 of the deer in Whisper White cardstock and adhered them to the White deer. I also used dimensional to attach the deer to the card.
I white heat embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment which is from the Merry Christmas to all stamp set. I love the large swirly font in this stamp set and another thing that’s great about this stamp set is that there are lots of individual words that you can use to make your own sentiment. For me the Merry Christmas to All bundle is a must have this Christmas.
