For the last 6 months I have been working really hard getting everything made for Matt and Emma’s wedding and at 2.30 this afternoon I get to watch them say “I Do”. I thought you might like to see the wedding stationery I made for them.
They have both been through so much, their 3 year old son had a bleed on the brain and it left him with no feeling down his right-hand side and affected his speech. Whilst he was in hospital it started to affect his left-hand side too, it was like he had a stroke.
It was an awful time for all of us but as a family we were there to help and support each other. Just before his 4th birthday little Ollie had surgery very close to his brain stem. Ollie is now doing really well and today we get to celebrate a very special day that we have waited 2 years for.
Emma chose Cherry Cobbler and white as her wedding colours. Here are a few photo’s of the daytime invitations that were inspired by a card I had seen by France Martin.
These are the Evening Invitations, on the back of the invitation I added a small pocket for the RSVP card and a little poem I found on the internet.
I will need a few days rest and then I’ll be back to ‘normal’ crafting and have regular blog posts again.
