I wanted to make a pretty box for some ribbon I got for my downline Helen. I didn’t want to give her a ‘normal’ lidded box, I wanted to make something special for her and I decided on a Milk Carton with a removable lid.
Helen’s favourite colour is pink and she loves the Powder Pink designer papers that are in the Fresh Florals paper stack so it was an easy decision for me on what cardstock and DSP to use.
I sized the box to fit a reel of 1/4″ Whisper White organza ribbon and the pack of Shimmer Ribbons that are in the SAB promotion.

I didn’t want to add too much decoration to the box because it already looked really pretty. I punched a few small flowers from scraps of Whisper White and Powder Pink cardstock and added some rhinestones in the centres. To finish the box I used the Powder Pink finely woven ribbon to make a pretty bow.

I really enjoyed making this box, I’m really pleased with how the box turned out and Helen loved it too.

*When designing a project or when I CASE a project I always use my cheap cardstock to make a prototype before making it with my Stampin’ Up! cardstock. I do check the measurements I add to my blog posts but when typing lots of measurements mistakes can be made. When making any project I recommend making it first with cheap cardstock before using your best cardstock.*
