Chocolate Juggling Panda

Today I have a fun card that I would like to share with you.  I got the idea for this card when I saw Tracy Walkden’s juggling panda card when we both took part in a Pootler’s Team blog hop.  Tracy had seen several Juggling Panda cards and below is a photo of her version.  It made me smile as soon as I saw her card and I just had to make my version.

Tracy’s Juggling Panda card

It didn’t feel right to me to completely copy Tracy’s juggling panda and as I hadn’t used the More Than Chocolate stamp set for a while I made a panda juggling chocolates which is so me because I do love my chocolate.

I’m trying to make projects that are not in my comfort zone and I definitely wasn’t in my comfort zone when making this card.  Normally I have a Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardbase but this time I went with Powder Pink and I used Chocolate Chip which isn’t a colour I would normally use but I really love these 2 colours together.

I die-cut the Happy Birthday in Chocolate Chip and Basic Black cardstock and slightly offset the black die-cut to give a shadow effect.

I had lots of fun making this card, it could be given to an adult or a child and I think the recipient will love it.

*When designing a project or when I CASE a project I always use my cheap cardstock to make a prototype before making it with my Stampin’ Up! cardstock. I do check the measurements I add to my blog posts but when typing lots of measurements mistakes can be made. When making any project I recommend making it first with cheap cardstock before using your best cardstock.*
