Thank you for joining me today. Geoff needed some boxes for the belt buckles, pendants and cloak clasps he had made for the weekend Live Action Role Play event (LARP) he was going to.
If you follow my blog you will know I love making boxes and these were fun to make.
If you haven’t heard of Live Action Role Play the easiest way for me to explain it is imagine a live version of The Lord of the Ring/The Hobbit.
I love using background stamps especially when I’m making boxes. With the boxes I was making for Geoff I wanted most of them to look like wooden boxes so I grabbed the Hardwood background stamp. I stamped the outside and the inside of each box.
I chose Mossy Meadow for the boxes for the cloak clasps and pendants. Mossy Meadow was one of the 2014/16 In Colors and Stampin’ Up! have bought it back in their colour revamp.
I used some brown card from my craft supplies for the Boar belt buckles boxes.
I love how these boxes have turned out and I hope you like them too. It was definitely worth spending the extra time to stamp the inside of the boxes too.

Making boxes is fun. You are very good. Geoff’s work is awesome. Is that his day job or just for the Role Play?

Geoff is my full-time carer and he makes the belt buckles etc. mainly for the role play but he has also made some for Birthday/Christmas presents too. xx
