A few days ago I shared the Wood Effect boxes I made for Geoffs cloak clasps, pendants and belt buckles that he had made (click here if you missed this post).
I have made several boxes for Geoff where I used the Marbled background stamp and he really likes that effect so he asked me to make the rest of his boxes with the Marbled stamp.
The boxes for the Howling Wolf belt buckles were made with Cherry Cobbler cardstock and I used the coordinating ink to stamp the outside and the inside of the boxes.
Geoff also made some cute Ship badges and the Marbled background stamp was perfect to decorate the boxes.
I showed Geoff all the shades of blue Stampin’ Up! cardstock and he liked Island Indigo. I was going to stamp the marble effect in the coordinating ink but I thought it might look better if I used Whisper White craft ink. I did a tester on a scrap piece of Island Indigo cardstock. After the ink had dried I showed it to Geoff and he loved it so I stamped the inside and outside of the boxes.
I love these boxes especially the one’s for the little ship. The Whisper White craft ink gives the effect of sea foam. The Marbled background would be brilliant for any Masculine projects.

Yes, I do use Stampin Up inks but how did you apply the ink to the stamp. I am waiting for my girlfriend Nabila to return to Paris, from a trip, to send an order.
Hi Lady Dee!! They are beautiful . . . turquoise is my favorite color. How did you apply the ink to the stamp? All the boxes look so regular in their stamping.
I use the Stampin’ Up! ink pads because they are a larger size than normal ink pads. They are 3 5/8″ x 2 5/8″. If you would like to order any please let me know. Lady Dee xx
