Thank you for visiting today, I hope you are having a great weekend. We have a long weekend here, it’s a Bank Holiday on Monday and the weather doesn’t look too bad, dry but chilly.
Today I have the Gift Box tutorial for the Poinsettia Over-the-Shelf Easel card. If you would like to see the tutorial for the Over-the-Shelf card click here

To make this box you will need:-

- 1 piece of 7 ¾” x 7 ¾” cardstock for the base of the box
- Scrap piece of cardstock for the tag
- Scoreboard
- Bonefolder
- Adhesive
- Scissors
- Decorative elements

To make the Box Base
With the 7 ¾” x 7 ¾” piece of cardstock score all 4 sides at 1″, fold and burnish all the scorelines with a bone folder.

To make the Lid
You will need a cardstock shim or slightly move the cardstock over from the left edge of the scoreboard before scoring.
With the 6 ¾” x 6 ¾” piece of cardstock score all 4 sides at ½”, fold and burnish all the scorelines with a bone folder.
Cut and mitre the 4 tabs.
Adhere one tab and then adhere the tab opposite A + D or B + C, as shown in the template below. Place the lid on the box base and adhere the other 2 tabs, this will ensure the lid is a good fit.
Click on the template to enlarge the image, right-click on the template to save and print it.
Now you are ready to decorate the box. I would love to see some photo’s if you make this project, you can email them to me – my email address is below.
