Fanciful Fragrance Shadow Box Card

I’ve been crafting for many years and there are several Fancy Fold cards I still haven’t made so I decided to make a list and work my way through them.

The first Fun Fold I tried was a Shadow Box card and I can’t believe how easy it was to make and it looks amazing.  The Shadow Box card folds flat and fits in an envelope so there’s no need to make a box for it.

This is the first time I’ve used the Fanciful Fragrance stamp set.  There is a lot of detail in this image and the first time I stamped it I lost a lot of the detail because my ink pad was too juicy.

When you have a very detailed stamp or one of the DistINKtive stamps the best way to keep all the detail is to use a sponge brayer.  I used my Stamparatus in case I needed to stamp it several times.

The beautiful DSP on the front of this card is from the Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ DSP pack.

I haven’t added a sentiment yet because this could be used for several different occasions, there is plenty of room on the back of the card to write your personal message to the recipient.

I have another card coming soon where I have used the cut-out from the centre of this card, paper-crafters don’t like to waste anything.

I hope you have enjoyed todays project and maybe it has inspired you to have some crafting fun too.

Before I go I want to say Get Well Soon Baby Girl. Our daughter is in hospital with either an infection or a blood clot on the lungs. Very worrying times.

Dimensions

For the card – 2 pieces of 7″ x 4 1/8″ White cardstock. On both pieces of card score the long side at ½” and 6 ½”.  Flip the card over and score at 1″ at both ends.  This will stop the card from cracking when you fold it.

DSP – 6″ (W) X 4 1/8″.  I adhered the DSP to the card before cutting the aperture.

Stamping panel – 6″ x 4 1/8″

I love to read what you think of my projects so please let me know. Thank you for visiting today, I hope you will be back soon. Dee x
