Elegant Oval Little Ladybug card

Every now and then I create something that I’m really proud of and want to show it to everyone and this adorable Little Ladybug card is definitely one of those projects.

After colouring 10+ Ladybirds I finally managed to get this one right and the Spellbinders Elegant Oval die I used sets it off beautifully.

You can find all the details and measurements at the bottom of this blog post

I wanted to add a balloon to the image and this cute Love Heart shaped balloon in the Special Someone stamp set was perfect.

After stamping the balloon string I used a black pen to draw the string going from the Ladybirds hand to the bottom of the stamped string.  Now it  looks like the Ladybird is holding the balloon.

If you don’t have a balloon stamp, punch or die they are easy to draw.

I hope you like today’s card, if you have time I would love to get  some feedback from you.

Where have I been?

If you follow my blog you will know that we have been looking after Geoff’s step-dad Charlie for the last few months.  Sadly, Charlie lost his battle with Cancer and passed away peacefully on December 30th.  We all miss him.

I will be back soon with another project, I’m hoping to have regular blog posts for you as soon as I can.

Thank you so much for visiting today.
