I’ve been having a lot of fun in my craftroom playing with the Stitched Seasons dies.
My passion is making boxes and bags and with these dies I managed to make 5 boxes/bags the other day.
This is one of my favourites and it came about completely by accident. I was making little holders for some lip balms and thought this little tin would fit in one of them but after making the base and the box I found the tin was a smidge too tall.
I wasn’t going to throw it in the bin, I’m too frugal to do that. The blue card I wanted to use was too thin to use on it’s own so I die-cut one in blue and one in white and glued them together. I scored and burnished it and then glued it onto the back.
The Thank You is from the Blended seasons stamp set and the little stars were white heat embossed.
I added a magnet onto the flap with some red line tape and when the tin is inside the magnet holds the box/bag together. I will punch a small circle of white card to cover the magnet. If you make these for craft fairs you will need to put a warning on it that it contains a strong magnet.
When it was finished I thought it looked like a cute little bag and I wanted to see what it would look like with a handle so I added a curled strip of white card and I really like.
I hope you like my little holder, I am going to see if one of the small tins of Vaseline will fit inside. These dies are only available until August 31st or while supplies last and I don’t want you to miss out.

Directions*
Cardstock for the holder: 4-9/16″ x 3-3/8″. Score at 1-1/4″ on all 4 sides and fold and burnish all the scorelines. Cut and mitre the tabs. Cut the tabs to about 1/2″ before adhering.
Place the die-cuts in your score board with the long side at the top. Align the 2 points in the centre of the die-cut with the 1-1/2″ mark on your scoreboard and score at 2″ and 3″. Fold and burnish.
*When designing a project or when I CASE (Copy And Share Everything) someone’s project I ALWAYS make it with some cheap cardstock first. When typing up lots of measurements mistakes can be made, we are human after all. It doesn’t help that I have Dyscalculia. When making any project I recommend making it first with the cheap stuff.*
