I love the new Narrow Note Cards because they’re great for little cards and gift card holders but since adding them to my crafting supplies I’ve neglected the ‘original’ note cards.
As soon as I saw this flower I wanted to gold heat emboss it on Very Vanilla cardstock. I thought the flower would be too big for the note cards but I grabbed one anyway and it was the perfect size.
I had intended to stamp the sentiment onto a separate piece of card, die-cut it and add it to a gold foil layer but to be honest it was quicker and easier to stamp the sentiment onto the note card.
The card may have looked better with a layered sentiment but I really like it as it is. Sometimes you just need to make a quick and simple card.

*When designing a project or when I CASE a project I always use my cheap cardstock to make a prototype before making it with my Stampin’ Up! cardstock. I do check the measurements I add to my blog posts but when typing lots of measurements mistakes can be made. When making any project I recommend making it first with cheap cardstock before using your best cardstock.*
