When I saw the Party Panda’s stamp set I just had to have it.  I’ve made a few projects with the Panda’s but this fun card is definitely my favourite.

I had an idea of how I wanted this card to look but I didn’t think it through properly, I just steamed right in and started making it.   I die-cut 2 circles on a piece of card that was the same size as the cardbase and used this as a template for where to sponge the backgrounds.  The sponging was messy and time consuming and to be honest I wasn’t really pleased with the way it looked but I decided to carry on.

I used my MISTI to stamp the Panda holding the balloon onto the die-cut piece, I used the MISTI because I knew I had to stamp it several times to get the dark black I wanted.  I coloured the balloon with a Real Red Stampin’ marker so that it matched the Real Red circles.

I stamped the other 2 Panda’s on a scrap of cardstock and fussy cut them.  I adhered the die-cut panel to the cardbase and added dimensionals to the 2 Panda’s and added them to the card.  I had to have a bit of fun with the card so I added 1 of the Panda’s at an angle.

If I were to make this card again I would go with the quicker and cleaner option and add a piece of coloured cardstock instead of sponging the ink.
