I have had so much fun with the ever so cute Yummy In My Tummy stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I have 3 blog posts showcasing this stamp set. I have 2 cards and a 3D project I made with these fun stamps.
As soon as I saw this stamp set I fell in love with it so much that I ordered it as soon as I was able too. Demonstrators can order products 1 month before they become available to customers (it gives us time to play with the products and prepare projects).
The card I would like to share with you today is my Ferrero Rocher Monster card which came together quite quickly.
I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the monster onto a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock.
Late last year I treated myself to the new Spectrum Noir Illustrator Alcohol Markers because the nibs on them are brilliant for crafters who love to colour stamped images.
I coloured the monster with the Lavender Alcohol Marker and I also coloured the edges of the matting layer and the sentiment matting layer so that it all matched. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the horns, teeth and pads on his paws.
I die-cut the centre of the tummy using the 2nd smallest circle from the Laying Circle Framelits Dies. I also cut 2 pieces of white craft foam, aligned each one underneath the top panel and drew around the die-cut area with a pencil. I used the same circle die to die-cut both pieces of craft foam.
I used Tear & Tape to stick the 2 pieces of craft foam together and adhered the craft foam in between each of the matting layers, this gave enough depth for the Ferrero Rocher to sit it. I found Mini glue dots are the best way to temporarily adhere the Ferrero Rocher to the card.
I adore this cute little card, I don’t want to give it away now but I know I must.
