The 3rd Yummy In My Tummy project I would like to share with you I’m calling my Monster Hugs Acetate Card.

This card took me a bit of time to put together but it really was worth it because everyone I’ve shown it to loves that they can see all the way through it.
For the cardbase I cut a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock to 7″ x 10″ and scored it on the long side at 5″.

I stamped the large monster onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Basic Black Archival ink and I flagged the bottom of it with one of my banner dies.  When I placed it on the cardbase I had the idea to banner the cardbase too.   The matting layer is Marina Mist cardstock.

I coloured the large monster with an Aqua painter and Marina Mist ink.  I used the Layering Circle Framelits Dies to cut the circle in his tummy.

The small green monster was stamped onto a piece of window sheet using Jet Black Stazon ink and I coloured in the back of the image with an alcohol marker.  I also stamped the ‘Hugs’ onto a piece of window sheet using Jet Black Stazon ink.

The piece of window sheet that had the little monster on it I adhered to the back of the cardbase with Tear & Tape.  I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock and flagged it using the same size banner die as the cardbase and adhered this to the back of the cardbase with Multipurpose liquid glue.

I hope you like my Monster Hugs Acetate Card.  I would love to have some feedback about my Yummy In My Tummy Showcase, please leave a comment below.
