Kayleigh and I have had a great time in Spain. We did lots of shopping and sight-seeing and the food was amazing especially all the ice cream we had.
Coming back to the UK was a big shock to the system, in Spain we had sunshine and 28-30° every day but when we landed at East Midlands airport it was raining, very windy and 12°.
World Card Making Day 2019
It’s World Card Making Day today. World Card Making Day was started in 2006 by Paper Craft magazine as a way to encourage crafters to make a start on their holiday cards.
As I haven’t had time to make something special for today I thought I would share a few of my cards that haven’t made it into my blog posts.
Double Display Card
In July our Son Jamie and Daughter-in-law Kerry celebrated their 1st Wedding Anniversary. They had a Navy and White wedding so I continued this theme on their card by using Night of Navy cardstock and ink.

Over the Shelf Easel Card
This Purple Posy and White Over the Shelf Easel Card is so pretty and sparkly. After die-cutting the large Sizzix floral die I adhered it to a double sided adhesive sheet and then covered it in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
I love the large Purple Posy Celebrate stacked die-cut. This card would be great for so many occassions – Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, Wedding, Get Well, Mother’s Day, Thank You etc. all you need to do is add a different sentiment.
For the flowers at the bottom I have used the EK Success Confetti Hydrangea Punch, this is my go to punch when I need flowers in different sizes.
Silver Sympathy Card
When it comes to Sympathy cards we don’t like making them but we need them sometimes so it’s a good idea to have a few already made.
This is a clean and simple card using a floral image and a With Deepest Sympathy sentiment. The floral image is from a retired stamp set and the sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set.
I hope these cards have given you some inspiration to craft today.
Now I’m rested I will continue my Halloween and Christmas crafting on Monday and will be back soon with another project.
