We have a family wedding later this year and today I wanted to share with you the Save the Date cards I made.
Our son TJ and his partner Hayley have been together for 12 years and in a few months time they will stand at the altar and say ‘I Do’. I can’t wait, I’m so excited and this year is going so quick the wedding will be here in no time.
Hayley will be arriving at the church in a horse-drawn carriage so when she saw the Horse and Carriage die she knew this was what she wanted on their Save the Date cards.

It took me several days to do all the die-cutting but it was definitely worth it. The Big Shot Die Brush made it a lot easier to remove all the fall-out pieces. Do you remember doing this with a paper piercer? If you haven’t bought a Die Brush yet I highly recommend getting one.
The detail in the top two corners was made with the Detailed Trio punch. There is a small Black Rhinestone in each of the top corners and a large Black Rhinestone on the carriage. TIP: If you don’t have the right colour Rhinestones you can use an alcohol marker or a Sharpie to colour them.

TJ and Hayley are excited and nervous at the same time. Hayley is still counting down the days on the Wedding Countdown Plaque I made for them last year. The tutorial for this can be found here.

This Horse and Carriage die is really beautiful but I don’t know who it was made by, if you know could you please tell me know in a comment below.
I hope you like the Save the Date cards, I had so much fun making them. I am working on some prototypes for their Wedding Favours but I’m keeping them a secret for now.
Have yourself some crafting fun.
