I have been working on my first Mini Album and I’m really enjoying it. The album is for our 1st Grandson who was born on 26th April 2020. He is an adorable little bundle of joy who was born during all this uncertainty but it’s lovely to have some good news for a change.
I’ve also made lots of Thank You cards recently for the frontline workers and written little messages of appreciation inside them.
Because my husband is classed as extremely vulnerable he is ‘Shielding’ (he cannot leave the house at all for 12 weeks) and I took the decision to do the same to protect him. We can’t physically hand out these cards but the volunteer helpers are doing this for us
The large Thank You’s were die-cut in gold foil, the ‘You are the Best’ was stamped with Delicata Golden Glitz ink and I used a small heart punch and several colours of cardstock (a list of all the colours I used can be found at the bottom of this post).
If you are like me and have lots of cardstock and DSP scraps this is a great way to use them up.
The beautiful swirly Thank You die used on the card above is from The Works and the Thank You die used on the cards below is from Stampin’ Up!
Using both dies at the same time made it a lot quicker to make a batch of cards.

The colours I used for the Rainbow Hearts are Real Red, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Grapefruit Grove, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Call Me Clover, Shaded Spruce, Blueberry Bushell, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss.
Enjoyed seeing your cards today. I have been making cards and sending them to friend and family. I CASED a card using the meerkats from sale-a-bration and made a social distancing card. Since then there has been Mother’s Day, birthdays, and Father’s Day. So I’ve been busy. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
