I have a quick and easy last minute Christmas gift today.
Do you get unexpected visitors over Christmas and realise that you haven’t got a gift for them? This always happens at our house but not this year, I have several bottles of wine that I made Bottle Covers for and I also have a few pre bought boxes that are filled with goodies that are suitable for families.
I know box making can be daunting for some crafters and Christmas is a busy time of year for us too so why not buy some pre-made boxes and decorate them yourself. I went into Clintons a while back and they had a 70% sale on their boxes so I bought quite a few in different sizes that I could use for last minute gifts. I want to say a big Thank You to Helen Watson for letting me know about the sale.
To decorate the top of the box I die-cut the largest square in the Stitched Shapes framelits dies. The Merry Christmas From Our Family To Yours is from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set. I gold heat embossed the sentiment and use the Everyday Label Punch to punch it. It is adhered to a Gold Foil Snowflake with dimensionals and I used Fast Fuse to adhere it to the box.
I managed to fit some Kinder Chocolates, Candy Canes and some of the new Limited Edition Mint Lindor Chocolates in the box. I thought this selection of goodies would be suitable for both adults and children to enjoy.
I hope you liked today’s last minute box of goodies, I have a few of these put aside just in case I need them.
