Today it’s the Pootler’s Team Blog Hop and we are showcasing some of the new products in the 2019/20 Annual Catalogue.
One of the things I love to make is Masculine projects and today I have an elegant Navy and White Fathers Day card but this would also be great for a Birthday, Anniversary, Get Well Soon or Thank You card.

What’s the 1st thing you look for in a new catalogue? For me, it’s Masculine products and the Come Sail Away suite has everything. There are Stamps and coordinating Dies, Designer Series Paper, Memories & More cards, the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder, Baker’s Twine and the most adorable little ships wheel (helm) and anchor trinkets.
I love the Come Sail Away Memories and More cards, there are lots of great images to choose from including the lighthouse and the amazing background I used on my card.
The Make a Difference stamp set is great for making your own sentiments, I stamped No. 1 Dad with Night of Navy ink and adhered the ships wheel trinket with mini glue dots.
On the inside of the card I used one of the stickers that are also in the Memories & More pack. I haven’t added a sentiment yet in case my Dad sees this post.

Card base: 10″ x 7″ piece of Thick White cardstock scored on the long side at 5″.
Front of the Card
For the front I have used:-
- Come Sail Away Memories & More cards.
- 4¼” x 6¼” piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
- Make a Different stamp set.
- Scrap pieces of White and Night of Navy cardstock for the sentiment.
- Night of Navy Ink.
- Sail Away Trinkets.
- Dimensionals and liquid glue.
Inside the Card
- 4¼” x 6¼” piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
- 4″ x 6″ piece of White cardstock.
- Sticker from the Come Sail Away Memories & More cards.
- Layering Circle Dies.
I found an article you wrote on Pinterest, about how to die cut on the fold for teapot and teacup! I just wanted to enquirer about your grandson’s health? It wasn’t great at the time, I read! Being a grandmother to 32 grandchildren, I understood how you felt! I pray that he’s doing so much better and being a kid at heart, body , and soul. Also, Thank you so much for sharing with us your techniques to die cutting folded CS. You made it so much easier for me to do! I’ll keep your family in my prayers that he recovers, if he hasn’t, and to stay recovered if he has! God Bless your family! You’ve been through a lot!

I am so pleased the die-cutting tips helped you. I write this blog in the hope of helping others and even if it helps just one person I am happy so you have made my day.
My Grandson had another bleed on the brain late last year which left him with no feeling down the left-hand side of his body and unable to speak and eat. He is a little fighter and is getting stronger, he is fed by a tube in his stomach and he does his physio exercises every day.
Having 32 grandchildren is amazing, I bet they keep you busy.
