Pootler’s New Products Blog Hop – June 2018

We have a brand new Stampin’ Up! catalogue packed full of amazing products and that means it’s time for a Pootler’s Blog Hop.  I love hoping around everyone’s blogs seeing the projects my sister demonstrators have created but my shopping list also gets longer when I see the amazing projects made with products I’ve overlooked in the catalogue.

Please continue hopping to see all the inspirational projects, you will find a list below of everyone that’s taking part today, simply click on the name after mine.  All the projects in today’s hop are showcasing some of the fabulous new products in the 2018/19 Annual catalogue.

Wedding season is here and I have 3 family weddings that I’m really looking forward to.  I love to get dressed up, with my hair and make-up done and one of my gorgeous ‘going out’ bags.  The last few times we’ve gone out I’ve felt really awkward when I need to take my medication.  I’m all dressed up and then I reach into my bag and pull out a shabby looking box of medication.

Well I definitely won’t feel embarrassed now because I have a pretty box for my tablets but I didn’t stop there, I also made a box for my Epipen, my reading glasses and a tissue holder.

I love the Graceful Glass Suite and the Painted Glass bundle was the first item on my shopping list.  I used the rose image from the stamp set to make my own Lovely Lipstick coloured DSP.  To decorate the boxes I die-cut 6 of the semi-circle’s in Basic Black cardstock.  I added a rose in the centre of each circle.

For the Epipen Holder I used the Pick a Pennant stamp set, there are coordinating dies but I haven’t ordered them yet.

I used the Stamparatus to line up the banner and the letters.  TIP If you have trouble getting your sentiments straight I find the Sew Easy Template Plastic Grids really help.  I get mine from Amazon but they are also available on Ebay.

I wanted to see if I could make some masculine holders too and the Rooted in Nature stamp set was perfect. I paired the new Gray Granite with Basic Gray and I really like how they turned out.

I love my new little Handbag Boxes.  What do you think?

If you enjoy the projects I make subscribe to my blog and whenever I have a new project to share you will receive it via email. *When designing a project or when I CASE a project I always use my cheap cardstock to make a prototype before making it with my Stampin’ Up! cardstock. I do check the measurements I add to my blog posts but when typing lots of measurements mistakes can be made. When making any project I recommend making it first with cheap cardstock before using your best cardstock.*

If you CASE this project please be sure to include my name and a link to my website/blog post in any video tutorial or blog post you do.  Thank you. Dee Copus-Read x
