The new Autumn/Winter catalogue is full of great products but have you had a look at the Clearance Rack recently? There’s DSP, Dies, Punches etc. from last years Autumn/Winter catalogue that are discounted by upto 60%.
Today’s beautiful card was made with the Detailed Poinsettia dies, they were on my ‘Wish List’ last year and when I saw them on Clearance with 40% off I bought them straight away.
I first saw this style of card made by Linda Parker (Papercraftwithcrafty) in March 2017. This is quite an easy card to make, you will find the link to the blog post and video tutorial at the botom of this post along with all the dimensions.
I love the look of Real Red and Garden Green together, they are the perfect Christmas colours for me.
I couldn’t decide between Real Red Glimmer Paper or Red Foil for the Poinsettia’s so I die-cut them in both. The flowers looked so pretty but in the end I went with the foil.
In the centre of the flowers I used Gold Stickles to add some small dots and I heat embossed the sentiments with gold embossing powder which gave it an extra touch of elegance.

- 1 piece of 11″ x 5½” Real Red cardstock scored on the long side at 2¾” and 5½”.
- 1 piece of 8″ x 5½” Real Red cardstock scored on the long side at 5½”.
Matting layers
1 piece of 5½” x 5½” Real Red cardstock and 1 piece of 5¼” x 5¼” White cardstock. These are for the Easel part of the card.
1 piece of 5¼” x 5¼” White cardstock and 1 piece of 5¼” x 2¼” White cardstock.
