Thank you for taking a peak at my project today.
One of the things I really enjoy is ink blending with the Distress Oxide inks and as I haven’t used them for quite a while it was time to get them out and have a play.
Have you tried these inks? They make it a lot easier to blend different colours without getting harsh lines.
I chose Candied Apple and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide inks for the die-cut scalloped heart. When the Oxide inks were completely dry I stamped the adorable little ladybird and Happy Birthday sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I love having texture and dimension on a card but I still like it to look clean and simple.
On the card base I added a piece of love heart embossed cardstock from my stash but you can use any embossing folder.
Instead of using lots of dimensionals on the scalloped heart I adhered it to a piece of craft foam before adding it to the card base.
