Kinder Chocolates with Reindeer Shaker Tree Ornament

Thank you for joining me today for another Old Meets New project.  This is such a cute little box and the Seasonal Chums Reindeer is adorable, I’m chuffed to bits that this carrying over.

I made this Ribbon Slider box to hold a box of Kinder Chocolates, I think this could be given to any adult or child.  I have made the tag removable so it could be hung on the Christmas Tree, to be honest I couldn’t bare the thought of it being thrown in the bin.

I had been making so many different boxes during the day and without thinking I cut a piece of Thick Very Vanilla cardstock for the box instead of DSP, it would have been a lot easier and quicker if I’d used DSP.

When I first saw the reindeer stamp I wanted to use it to make my own DSP but I had some retired DSP that was perfect for this box and it needed using up.  I’m on a mission to use up as much of my retired DSP, Ribbon and Embellishments as I can.

I used the Jar of Love stamp set and the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits Dies for the tag.  The dies are currently £24 instead of £30 in the Year End Sale.  The Reindeer is from the Seasonal Chums stamp set, I have listed all the details at the bottom of this post.  Even though the stamp set and dies are carrying over the bundle will be discontinued on 2nd January 2018.

For the shaker I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and some small white beads.  I fussy cut one of the deer’s from the DSP and added it to the back of the tag.
