It’s my Birthday and OnStage Telford swaps

It’s my Birthday today but before the family come round to celebrate with me I wanted to show you the swaps I made.  I’m too excited to wait until the weekend.

On Saturday Geoff and I went to OnStage in Telford where we met up with lots of demonstrator friends and fellow Pootler’s and we had so much fun.  

One of the best things about OnStage is swapping, I met so many lovely demonstrators and I came home with a box full of different projects. 

The Stampin’ Up! Sweet Cups didn’t arrie in time so Geoff took me to the Cash & Carry and I bought some polystyrene cups instead. 

I am trying to use up as much DSP as I can before it retires and with a 12″ x 12″ sheet I managed to decorate 6 cups.

In each cup I put a tube of Mason & Miller Body Lotion and I made some little envelopes that had plasters for the demonstrator to keep in their purse or wallet.

I wanted a sentiment for the envelopes and Kiss It Better was perfect for the plasters.

I found some wooden coffee stirrers in the Cash & Carry and I used them to make a flower and I added ‘You’re the Best’ on one side and ‘Enjoy Today’ on the other.

To secure the coffee stirrer I added a couple of glue dots to it and attached it to the body lotion. 

To keep the plasters and body lotion in place I die-cut a circle and then used a 1″ circle punch and the Classic Label punch.  

I made 49 swaps because I had to cut one of the cups to make a template for the DSP wrap.

I used up quite a bit of retiring DSP on my swaps.   I have some strips left over from the 6″ DSP I used for the envelopes but I will put them on some of my cards.
