InspireINK Blog Hop #30

Masculine Makes #2 – Playing Cards & Dice Holder Original Idea by Dee Copus-Read

It’s time for another InspireINK Blog Hop and this month I set a nice, easy theme for the ladies – make a project using your favourite product(s) in the new Stampin’ Up! 2020/21 Annual catalogue.

When you get your hands on a new catalogue what do you look for first?

For me, it’s products that can be used for Masculine projects.  I loved the Game On stamp set as soon as I saw it because it’s great for masculine and feminine projects.  This stamp set went straight to the top of my MUST HAVE list.

If you missed it when you looked through the catalogue the Game On stamp set is on page 28 and is available in English, French and German.

The stamp set arrived Wednesday afternoon so I’ve only had a few days to play with it.

One of my design ideas was a box that would hold Playing Cards and Dice.  I had the cardstock in my hand ready to cut but something told me to get the Pizza Boxes out and to my surprise the Pizza Box was the perfect size.

Some simple stamping and a little bit of fussy cutting and this project was done.  Don’t be put off of fussy cutting, the playing cards are all straight lines so it’s much easier to fussy cut.

These would make great gifts and could be used as Stocking Fillers.  They are quick and easy makes for Craft Fairs too.
