InspireINK Blog Hop #21

It’s the InspireINK Blog Hop today and this month we have a Tic-Tac-Toe (Noughts & Crosses) challenge.  The links for all today’s great projects are at the bottom of this post, I can’t wait to see what the ladies have made. 

I chose the top line because I loved the idea of making a Gold and Black Christmas project and it was a great way to try out the new Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic ink pad.  

For our July Blog Hop I made a Wedding themed Double Display card and today I have a Double-Double Display card.  This card is HUGE, when fully opened it’s 24″ x 6″.  

When the Autumn/Winter catalogue comes out the Christmas products in the Annual catalogue get forgotton so for todays card I wanted to use the Dashing Deer stamp set and dies that were carried over from last year, these are one of my favourites.  

For the large deer on the left I smooshed the Gold ink pad onto some black cardstock and once the ink was dry I die-cut the deer, there isn’t a stamp for this one.

On the centre panel I used the large ‘Christmas Greetings’ and ‘Wishing you a Christmas of Smiles & Love that will last all year’ sentiments from the Greatest Part of Christmas Host stamp set. 

The challenging part for me was working out what to put on the other panels because I didn’t have any coordinating DSP.  The Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set is permanently on my worktop and because there are so many great sentiments in both stamp sets I got the Stamparatus out and filled one of the Stamparatus plates with sentiments from both sets and stamped away quite happily.

What do you think of todays card?

I really enjoyed making this and it definitely has the WOW factor.  Maybe it will inspire you to get your craft supplies out and make one, I would love to see some photo’s if you do. 

My verdict on the new Delicata Ink Pads – definitely worth getting as they are really sparkly.  I loved it so much I stamped everything on my card with it.
