InspireINK Blog Hop #16

It’s time for another InspireINK Blog Hop and the lovely Hannah McCurley (stampinbyhannah) came up with the idea of having a Tic-Tac-Toe (Noughts & Crosses) Colour Challenge.

TJ & Hayley bought me some flowers for my Birthday and while I was putting them in a vase I remembered Mum’s vases. 

My Mum loved having fresh flowers in the house, on her Birthday Dad always had a large bouquet delivered to the house and there would be vases of flowers everywhere!!

This gave me the idea for my project and it helped me choose my colours – Highland Heather, Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow. 

I used the Vibrant Vases stamp set but I didn’t have the punch so I fussy cut the vases and the tulips. 

The Hardwood background stamp is retiring but I had to use it one last time for the Highland Heather chest of drawers, I would love one of these in my craftroom.

I kept the inside of the card quite simple and stamped a vase of flowers on the front of the envelope.  ‘No naked envelopes’ as Connie Stewart would say.

I hope you enjoyed todays card, it took me 2 attempts to get it right but I’m so pleased with how it turned out.
