InspireINK Blog Hop #15

Today I’m taking part in the Easter themed InspireINK Blog Hop and I’m so pleased you could join us because we have lots of inspiring projects to share with you.

Last Sunday our son TJ celebrated his 30th birthday.  One of my pregnancy cravings with TJ was Cadburys Creme Eggs.  It was Winter 1988 and back then Cadburys Creme Eggs were only in the shops at Easter.  Even though Geoff knew this he still went to all the local shops and petrol garages for me.  

Geoff took me to The Range a few weeks ago and while we were waiting to pay he spotted the Creme Eggs and bought 1 for me.  Not only did it remind me of my craving it also gave me the inspiration for my Easter project.

I don’t have any of the current Easter themed stamps so I got creative.  I found the bunny in the Fastened With Love stamp set and I used the ‘building block’ image to frame my sentiment which is from the Vibrant Vases stamp set.

I did some tone-on-tone stamping on the back of the holder to add a bit of decoration and the beautiful metallic edge ribbon gives it an elegant look.

I hope you like my quick and simple Cadbury’s Creme Egg holder.  This was a great project for my strips of Cardstock/DSP challenge.
