Today I have a fold flat box that holds a pack of In Color Stampin’ Write markers (2017/2019 or 2018/2020) but you could also put some tea-lights or sweet treats inside. The finished dimensions of the box are 7″ x 2-5/8″ x 5/8″.
I had never heard of Stampin’ Up! until I watched a YouTube tutorial. It was the first time I’d seen a stamp set and coordinating punch AND they sold card, inks, ribbons and embellishments that all coordinated. I went online straight away.
I couldn’t afford the stamp set, punch, card and the ink pads the demonstrator had used in her tutorial so I bought the 2014/2016 In Color markers instead. The markers were an affordable way for me to build up my ink collection and because they have the same dye based ink as the ink pads they are refillable. I also like them because they have a brush tip at one end and the other end has a fine point that’s great for colouring those teeny tiny areas, journalling or filling in an outline that hasn’t stamped properly.
I used Lovely Lipstick cardstock for the box and added some of the Petal Promenade DSP to the top and bottom. Lovely Lipstick is one of the 2018/2020 In Colors and it’s one of my new go to colours and over the next few weeks you’re going to see a few projects made with it but if you are not keen on this colour I have started working with the Christmas and Halloween Colours.
In with my embossing powders was a little tub of White embossing powder that I mixed with some Dazzling Diamonds glitter about 2 years ago and I used this to heat emboss the sentiment. It is really sparkly in real life and if you follow my blog you will know I love anything that sparkles. The Thank You is from the Painted Glass stamp set, I love this suite but it was the beautiful Gothic style font that caught my eye first.

The Painted Glass stamp set is available in Clear Mount (Red Rubber stamps you mount on your clear blocks) or Wood Mount and is also available as a bundle with the coordinating dies and you save 10% on the bundle price.
The sentiment and mat was die-cut with the Layering Circle dies.

Cardstock: 9-1/4″ x 7″
Score the long side at 1/2″ and 1-1/8″ on both sides.
Score the short side at 2-5/8″, 3-1/4″, 5-7/8″ and 6-1/2″
DSP – 2-5/8″ x 1-3/8″.
*When designing a project or when I CASE (Copy And Share Everything) someone’s project I ALWAYS make it with some cheap cardstock first. When typing up lots of measurements mistakes can be made, we are human after all. It doesn’t help that I have Dyscalculia. When making any project I recommend making it first with the cheap stuff.*
Hi Lady Dee!! Have just come back from the United States. I found StampinUp through you tube . . . I buy their products even though I think they are quite expensive; in particular, lately!! I cannot buy counterfeited ones, so little by little I will get to have “beaucoup” of their products — ha!ha!ha! I have bought beautiful small note pads, pen and pencils for the charity Christmas bazar, so if you have any kind of tutorials for these items, I will appreciate it a looooooooooooooooooooot!!!!
