Elegantly Gift Wrapped Kinder Chocolates

Thank you for visiting my blog today, I have a really elegant box that I would like to share with you.

This really is a quick and easy project. After wrapping the box, I added some gorgeous black and white striped ribbon, stamped the sentiments, did a bit of die-cutting and hey presto.

I used the Merry Music Speciality DSP to wrap the box of Kinder Chocolates, no scoring I wrapped it just like I would wrap a gift.  I added a piece of the 7/8″ striped ribbon and secured it on the back of the box.

The Special Delivery from the North Pole sentiment is from the Merry Little Labels stamp set.  There is a coordinating punch but I wanted to use the Layering Ovals.  Even though the stamp set and the  Everyday Label punch are carrying over the 10% bundle discount is only available until 2nd January or while stocks last.

I layered the sentiment on a Silver Glimmer Paper Scalloped Oval and a Basic Black Oval then adhered this to one of the Silver Foil Snowflakes.  I also die-cut 2 Silver Glimmer Paper Snowflakes from the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits Dies which are retiring on 2nd January, 2018.

I’m really surprised these are retiring because they make cute little stockings that you can decorate and pillow boxes too.  There are also buttons, holly leaves and berries, a bell, a beautiful snowflake and several other great dies.  The dies coordinate with the Tags and Trimmings stamp set.

I added a Clear Faceted Gem to the centre of each snowflake for an extra bit of glitz and adhered the sentiment and snowflakes to the striped ribbon with mini dimensionals.

On the back of the box I added Do Not Open ‘Til Christmas which is from a retired stamp set but you could add any sentiment.  You don’t need to add this if you adhere the ribbon to the front of the box.

I hope you like today’s quick and easy box.  I think Black and White always has an elegant look to it.  I made this for my daughter Kayleigh, she is 25 but she still loves Kinder Chocolate.  Kayleigh is recovering really well after her recent surgery, she is hoping to go back to work by the end of the year.

*When designing a project or when I CASE a project I always use my cheap cardstock to make a prototype before making it with my Stampin’ Up! cardstock.   I do check the measurements I add to my blog posts but when typing lots of measurements mistakes can be made.  When making any project I recommend making it first with cheap cardstock before using your best cardstock.*
