The new Autumn/Winter catalogue goes live in a few days time and one of the bundle’s that was on the top of my shopping list was the Candy Cane Season stamp set and the coordinating Candy Cane Builder punch.
I have used one of the stamps to make my own DSP for this cute little bag .
I’ve always used Real Red for my Christmas projects but now we have the new Poppy Parade I wanted to give it a try. The candy canes and the top of the bag are Poppy Parade and I really like it for Christmas projects, will I use it more than Real Red? We’ll have to wait and see.
I sized this bag so that I could use the largest of the stitched dies (Stitched Seasons Framelits dies) for the top of the bag. For the closure I used magnets but you could use velcro, ribbon, twine or maybe a peg instead. The double bow on the front is there just for decoration.

Today is the last day to get your hands on the Blended Seasons stamp set and Stitched Seasons dies, I think they are a great bundle to add to your craft supplies. The cost of the stamps may seem expensive but they are red rubber stamps and the images are quite big, they come in 2 cases.
The Bonus Days promotion also finishes today, see details below.
I have included links to all the products I have used and there is also all the dimensions for the bag. If you would like to order any of the products click on the image below and it will take you to my online store.
i hope you like todays little gift bag. If you have any questions please let me know in a comment or you will find my contact details at the bottom of this page.
Have yourself some crafting fun.

Dimensions*
Cardstock: 9-1/2″ x 5″.
Score the long side at 1″, 4-1/2″, 5-1/2″ and 9″. You need to add partial scorelines at 1/2″ down to 3″ and at 5″ down to 3″.
Score the short side at 1″.
Fold and burnish the full scorelines ignoring the partial scorelines. They are there to give a nicer finish to the bag when you pinch the sides in.
*When designing a project or when I CASE (Copy And Share Everything) someone’s project I ALWAYS make it with some cheap cardstock first. When typing up lots of measurements mistakes can be made, we are human after all. It doesn’t help that I have Dyscalculia. When making any project I recommend making it first with the cheap stuff.*
