I was hoping to share the Pop-Up box card I made for the Snowflake Showcase today but I realised I needed to take a few more photo’s for the in-depth tutorial.
After making the One Sheet Wonder 6 gift card holders I thought they would be a great idea for craft fairs or to give to family members who like to give gift cards. If you missed the blog post and would like to see the tutorial click here.
I had some cello bags that I bought quite a while ago that were perfect for 4 of the gift card holders. For the topper I used the Dashing Along DSP and added a pretty bow from some white glittery ribbon that I bought last year from The Works. You will find all the dimensions and a list of the products I used at the bottom of this post.

DIMENSIONS*
The cello bags I used said 4″ x 6″ on the packet but they were actually 4 ¼” wide.
Dashing Along DSP cut to the same width as the cello bag 4 ¼” x 4″ (if you have a directional pattern make sure you take this into account when cutting your DSP). I made the topper 1 ½” high but it can be as tall or as short as you prefer.
- With the pattern you want to show facing upwards score the 4″ side at 2″.
- Flip the DSP over and score the 4″ side at ½” and 3 ½” (this is the dark red side of the DSP on my topper but you don’t need to do this step if you don’t want to).
- Fold and burnish the scorelines – the two ½” scorelines will fold the opposite way.
- If you decided to add the ½” and 3 ½” scorelines use adhesive of your choice to adhere them.
- Place the gift card holders inside the cello bag with the seal at the bottom of the bag.
- Add adhesive of your choice to adhere the topper to the cello bag.
*When making any project I recommend you make it with cheap cardstock first because when someone is typing up lots of measurements mistakes can be made, we are human after all. I do double check my measurements but I have Dyscalculia.
