OnStage Solihull Swaps – Ribbon Scissor Charms

Last weekend Hubby and I went to Solihull for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Local event which is held twice a year.  Demonstrators who attend get a copy of the upcoming catalogue and play with some of the new products.

For the event I made 50+ swaps and I got to swap and chat with lots of demonstrators. I came home with a bag full of swaps that I can use for inspiration.

 

For my swaps I made Ribbon Scissor charms with the Shrinkles Shrink Art sheets, these are great fun to play with.  They reminded me of when I was at school and I used to put crisp packets in the oven to shrink them and make key rings and badges with them.  Did you do that too?

I’m Not Just A Pretty Label – Pretty Label Punch Showcase

I was really upset when I found out Stampin’ Up! were going to retire the Decorative Label Punch because I used it for more than just punching labels.  What could they bring out that would be better?  I had to wait until early April to find out.

When I got to see the Pretty Label Punch in the online version of the new Annual Catalogue I wasn’t very impressed but when pre-order time came I ordered the bundle (the punch and the Label Me Pretty stamp set).  Now I have had time to play with these the punch is so much better than the old Decorative Label punch
