Have you ever looked at a stamp set and immediately thought I’ve got to have this but you don’t have a clue why you want it?
Well this happened to me for the very first time when I saw the Bee Thankful stamp set in the Annual catalogue.
My catalogue has lots of post-it-notes marking everything I like but I even wrote Got to have this!! on the post-it-note.
I have really got into colouring stamped images and I spend most evenings colouring, it helps me to relax and it’s something I can do when I’m laid up for a few days. As soon as the stamp arrived it went into the Stamparatus and I stamped it onto cardstock and watercolour paper.
I haven’t stopped colouring it, I’ve used watercolour pencils, Prismacolor pencils and I’ve been trying out some of the new Stampin’ Up! colours and they all look amazing. I will have a few more to show you soon.
The little bee is super cute! I don’t normally think of bee’s as cute because I’m allergic to them but don’t you think this one is adorable?
I added a piece of the new Tea Room Speciality DSP to the front of the card, this lightweight DSP is also great for making envelopes or envelope liners and you get 24 sheets in the pack. I used the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch on a couple of strips of Calypso Coral cardstock and added them to the stamped layer before adhering it with dimensionals. I added a few pretty sequins and my card was done.

*When designing a project or when I CASE a project I always use my cheap cardstock to make a prototype before making it with my Stampin’ Up! cardstock. I do check the measurements I add to my blog posts but when typing lots of measurements mistakes can be made. When making any project I recommend making it first with cheap cardstock before using your best cardstock.*
